BEER!!, So what is everyones favourite Beer?

Just knocked over a few Abbey Ales. Excellent.
I hate the miserable 330 ml bottles but the flavour is big.
Robust 7% alcohol . Very satisfying.

The JS golden ale has the tropical fruit notes and is dead sexy with thai food.

I don't blame Coopers from going into that space but it just doesn't move me.

Agreed that the pale ale is my favourite and I have good memories of working in Adelaide sipping pale and eating salted pistachios over xmas in 1994.....

G'day W, They are probably losing some market share to other trend driven drinkers.May need to be expanding the range to meet that need.
I almost always buy the Cooper's pale as my staple.
Hard to beat the Squire's brews as well.Golden ale and Pilsener are very good.

For me the Coopers range that has dipped into lager territory with their pilsner (and lager) is a bit ho hum. Others are doing these types of beers as well or better.

There are few breweries doing ales like Coopers ie sparkling, dark and pale with relatively high temp and open fermentation (last I checked) hence the character of the beer. This is hard to find in a commercial sense anywhere else.

Agree with the Coopers idea! Can't beat a Pale Ale or a Lager...both great for hot summers.

If it is cold and a good hearty meal awaits, a Kilkenny ain't bad either.
