Good work by the video refs in the Doggies vs Tigers game. Exactly how they missed the knock on from Ryan as he regathered is inexplicable. Probably as inexplicable as the lack of penalty for Barba being taken out under a high ball or the penalty the Tigers received for interference.
Glasses won't help refs seemingly with no idea of consistency or accuracy. -------------------- IF YOU DON'T AGREE WITH MY OPINION....YOU ARE A BUM.

In Reply To: henrietta's post @ Jun 14 2012, 07:27 AM Yeah j the cockies played strongly again last night. Qld were off, due no doubt to the efforts of the NSW players. Ricky was okay but Gallen again carried on like a goose, crying about decisions even before they were made. But as they say winners are grinners and it was NSW's turn last night, and so its off to Lang Park we go. -------------------- "The market can stay irrational longer than you can stay solvent." In Reply To: henrietta's post @ Jun 13 2012, 10:55 AM Well done NSW last night. That will make the third game pretty interesting, with both teams desperate. Haven't read what the reffing was like but assume it was OK ....... I hope so. Maybe Ricky will give the whinging a miss for a few days ! Cheers J |

In Reply To: balance's post @ Jun 13 2012, 10:33 AM Absolutely no offence taken at all. It was dear old Ricky's own words ( perhaps ghost written) and it did sound just like him. He was always a whinger, and pretty devious as a player ......... always trying to gain unfair advantage, so I don't have any time for him at all.I won't watch, as I don't enjoy the stomach cramps from being anxious.I'll just wish the toads good luck. Can't see them getting much joy from the refs this time. Cheers J |

In Reply To: henrietta's post @ Jun 10 2012, 07:25 PM Hi J, I hope you did not take that spray as a go at you. Never my intent. I just cannot stand the nonsense trotted out around SOO especially by the Murdoch press. Today's front page is a photo (via online news) of Todd Carney with "In Todd we trust" . Good grief, this is a bloke who is lucky to be pulling on boot considering the nests he's pooped in over the last few years. He was was vilified, with some good reason for this by the DT and other outlets. Now he's the saviour of NSW. I also saw a nice pic of JT with a smile on his face , front page of the CM supposedly saying 'is that the best you've got NSW'. Pretty sad state of affairs when the biggest stories in Brissy and Sydney (according the DT and CM) is SOO and some contrived niggle. I'll probably watch as it will likely be a good game , I just wish Roy and HG were still doing the call. -------------------- Day Trader: Lowest form of life in the known universe.

In Reply To: henrietta's post @ Jun 10 2012, 07:25 PM I would not wrap up a turd in the Tele J. They're just trying to talk up some extra hate in the more parochial boofhead supporters. There is always something dumb or controversial pre origin. More importantly the Wallabies bounced back and the Swans had a nail biter last night. Nearly killed me. -------------------- Day Trader: Lowest form of life in the known universe.

Under-rated, cheap players who'll have a big 2012? -------------------- |
