Why not coop with nivea or another big sunscreenbrand? Use their brand instead of making it from bottom to top.

The thing is....if you have in mind, that this is a million $ company, soon FDA approved (hopefully) launches a page like that, with a logo like that, gives you a picture of a company of people who dont know what they are doing except producing scennesse...in addition to that, the fact that some people of the management will leave the company, well...changes the point of view a bit and is freakin scary isnt it?...
By the way...maybe their lack of experience in SR is because all of them write their mails in latin?

Guys....i have to admit...if you asked me before "can a webpage change my point of view of a stock/company?" My answer would have been "NO"...but now...
OMG...these guys have millions in cash and they hired a kid to make a logo and maybe did the whole page with wix or jimdo. And please, somebody should tell them the first rule of marketing...because that SH** is just stupid: Per diligentiam sinceritatemque progredimur et populum servimus

You can have all the potential you want...if you dont use it to the fullest...you will disappear in the crowd. i think if clinuvel is not gonna DO something in the next months, the company will be piece by piece a story in the history of "there was once a company with a huge potential, BUT...".

Can someone please give me a timetable/overview for the next weeks/months? When can we expect news/results/milestones etc.

Because i read these sentences:

"CLINUVEL will submit the modular dossier on SCENESSE® on a rolling basis during the first half of 2017. After the completion of the submission of the dossier the FDA will observe a validation period of two months. Further interactions between the DDDP and CLINUVEL will take place as the submission progresses."

but i have no idea in which step we are atm.

your help is much appreciated wink.gif

Google Translate:

This disease and the only drug on the other hand always keep talking. For here, hardly any compatible interests collide. The rare and very painful light energy (erythropoietic protoporphyria) suffers about 60 persons. The medicine, which gives them relief, is called Scenesse. The cost per patient and year amounted to 28,000 Swiss francs up to the beginning of 2016 according to the insurer Helsana. Then the Australian manufacturer Clinuvel raised the price per treatment to 7,000 francs to 19,000 francs, and the annual costs rose to 76,000 francs.

Resistance was futile. The small Australian company held a monopoly with Scenesse, there were no price negotiations, as health insurance companies explain. Instead, Clinuvel announced a further price adjustment, which will increase the annual costs to 100,000 francs per person. Several coffers refused to continue to finance the therapy. Affected patients were looking for the public, the Federal Office of Public Health promised that they would adapt the crucial passage in the health insurance regulation (KVV).

Clever positioned

On the 1st of March, the new Paragrafenradwerk will attack. To whose favor? The Australians can look forward. They no longer have to offer health insurance to their health care providers. What they actually did not do before, the law now also holds for them. "The insurer reimburses the costs for which the medicinal product is imported from abroad".

The Australians positioned themselves cleverly. They did not register their medication with the Swiss Swissmedic Medicines Agency, let alone to request a listing in the specialty list. In this case they would have had to negotiate the prices with the Federal Office of Public Health (BAG).

14 days to make a decision

Clinuvel had previously registered with the European Medicines Agency (EMA) in the case of an equivalent foreign office. Should Clinuvel offer the preparation in another country at a lower price, then the health insurance company would insist that it should be imported from Switzerland to Switzerland.

Conclusion of the statutory innovation: The health insurance companies must either swallow the import price or inform the patient that the cost acceptance is totally rejected - on the grounds of a gross disparity between benefits and costs. In the past, this has led to partial disputes between patients, doctors and insurance companies. Now the cash register has to make the refusal decision from 1 March within 14 days.

The insurances of the affected insured persons and their organizations are certainly certain to the coffers.

The circle of persons with a rare disease may seem small. However, the list of medicines compiled by Swissmedic last February in February 2016, the so-called orphan drugs, is swelling to about 250 medicines. In 2011 it was still 102. How many drugs of the 2016 list on the specialty list figured, the FOPH could not say on request.

Up to a million francs

Most of these drugs have one thing in common: they are sinfully expensive, because there are hardly more than one supplier. The insurer Helsana recently presented a list of five drugs with orphan status, whose annual cost per patient is between 400,000 and one million francs. And what does that mean for the health insurance company, its insured persons and the premium development? "For an annual treatment of 400,000 francs, the cash desk is expected to have over 100 premium payers who do not receive any benefits - year after year".

The other side of the coin can not be neglected: Orphan drug providers are now regarded as very hot investments among investors. Thus, the value of the shares of Scenessa's supplier Clinuvel tripled last year. The small company wants to supply seven more European countries this year and be admitted in the USA.
