Hanging tightly onto mine too, they're funding my retirement. Plenty more good news to come this financial year which should keep them moving along.

Thanks again Farmer for alerting me to this one 12 months ago. I am holding long term. What a great business model. My mate sold out at 51 cents last week in order to rebuy at lower levels. He is crying today and doesn't want to talk about it.

I keep thinking this has got to take a breather somewhere, but it keeps going up. Who knows where its going to stop, maybe when its market cap to P2 reserves is more closely aligned with other oilers.

In Hind Sight 48 was more than reasonable! Touched 70 this morning.

MAD has had an unbelievable run, but there is depth to this Company, so more to come?

Happy holding!

48c seems sensible, however I would prefer to see more fundamental news and the market picture (chart 2) change more, that is less red and more green before entering.

http://www.maverickdrilling.com/documents/January23_2012.pdf

Came across this through a posting about junior oil companies worth buying, and what a chart it is.

Apparantly only IPO'd in 2010, its claim to fame are leases obtained in an already known oil field near Houston, Texas. Whilst this horse may have bolted, IMO it shows the value in doing Fundamental research, following the announcements, asessing the value in those announcements, making the decision to invest, and then waiting.

It's the waiting that's the difficult bit, and waiting one had to do right up till January 13th.

Congratulations to those that got on board using Fundamentals, you then have seen a 300% profit, that is if you sold out somewhere near the top.

Trick is identify the likely ones early on, take a position, and WAIT. Let's watch and see if this is an ongoing trading proposition as the wells planned make an interesting read.

btw: there are others with similiar potentials ASX listed think CVN, SUR, RIA (I have all 3) --the Fundamental fact that stood out in this exercise is that MAD operates in a KNOWN oil producing area, thereby de risking the overall play considerably.

Yes FFred. Where is it going to stop. Going up too steeply? Volume suggests informed buyers now entering?

Some SP consolidation needed at some time. Touched 59.5 today. I am in at 34.5 with second buy order over whelmed.
